Visual object common properties

where

Determines where the object is visible:

when the location is set to a container which doesn’t exist in the patch, Usine try to find in parent patches, the first container available. If no container is available an error message is displayed.

caption

Displayed caption.

mouse & gesture

mouse dwn

Gives the mouse state of the control: 1 if the mouse is pressed 0 otherwise. In multi-touch configuration, can be an array of [0..1] values.

dbl click

Sends a 1 value if the user has double clicked on the control.

mouse X

Gives the mouse X position on the the control in relative coordinates:

  • 0 most left,
  • 1 most right.

In multi-touch configuration, can be an array of [0..1] values. See Native Multi-Touch.

mouse Y

Gives the mouse Y position on the the control in relative coordinates:

  • 0 top,
  • 1 bottom.

In multi-touch configuration, can be an array of [0..1] values. See Native Multi-Touch.

mouse wheel

Gives the mouse wheel direction:

  • -1 forward,
  • 1 backward.

gesture

reset

auto reset

Resets the fader/knob value to its default value when the mouse button (or screen touch) is released. Gives information about the last gesture applied on the control. See Multitouch advanced settings.

bitmap

bitmap in

bitmap out

Bitmap output. See Manipulate Bitmaps.

drag & drop

drop file name

Name of the dropped file. See Using drag & drop.

allow drop

Enables or disables the drag&drop possibilities on the panel. See Using drag & drop.

save options

saved in preset

Determines if parameters of this object are saved in the preset manager.

randomize

can be randomized

When ON, this object will be randomized by the randomize button of its patch.

touch and collide

collide

Sends which object collides with other objects or the border. See Physical Engine.

object touch

Sends which object is currently manipulated. The nth object is moving if the [nth-1] index of the array is 1.

  • [0,0,1,0] : the 3rd object is manipulated,
  • [0,0,1,1] : the 3rd and 4th objects are manipulated,
  • etc.

touch select mode

select by

Selection modes for children objects in touch screen mode.

  • exact position: you have to touch an object in order to select it.
  • nearest: selects the closest, not yet selected, object.
  • nearest and move: selects the closest, not yet selected, object. Then move it at the position of your finger.
