Surround Panner

Send the input sound to different speakers according to the pan position.

Example with 4 speakers

in [1..N]

Audio inputs.

out [1..M]

Surround outputs.

X-[1..N]

Pan positions on the horizontal axis.

Y-[1..M]

Pan positions on the vertical axis.

array X pos

Pan positions on the horizontal axis in array mode.

array Y pos

Pan positions on the vertical axis in array mode.

caption

Displayed caption of the object.

num of inputs

Number of audio inputs, choose between 1(mono) to 16.

outputs ON/OFF

Turn audio outputs (speakers) ON or OFF in array mode.

activate symmetry

Turn Symmetry mode ON or OFF.

symmetry

Symmetry mode:

  • circle: pan positions keep always the same angle.
  • translation: pan positions keep always the same distances between each other.

area

Sets here the area size of the speakers.

smooth speed

Determines if the volume changes smoothly (SLOW), or abruptly (FAST) when the panner is modified. Fast value can produce audio glitches.

  • fast
  • medium
  • medium slow
  • slow
  • very slow

coeffs

Array which contains volume coefficients for each source and speaker in the following order:

  • [coeff so1 sp1, coeff so1 sp2, coeff so1 sp3,…coeff so2 sp1, coeff so2 sp2,….coeff soN spM]
